Picture of TOBII S32 TOUCH The Tobii S32 Touch is a direct selection communicator and environmental control unit designed for use by individuals with communication, speech, or severe physical disabilities and autism. The user plays pre-recorded, digitized speech messages through direct selection by touching pictures or symbols in a grid or scene. The case is made of plastic with rubber edges. The unit comes with six grids (keyguards) with 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 or 32 keys. Up to 192 overlays can be recorded with over 60 hours of total recording time. The unit comes with a built-in microphone and speaker, adjustable carrying strap, carrying case, USB cable, Tobii SymbolMate software (see separate entry) and a User's Guide. Messages can be recorded directly through the microphone or added from a computer with the Tobii SymbolMate software (included) using a USB connection. The Tobii S32 Touch is equipped with a TiirDA Enhanced infrared (IR) circuit so that it can be used as an environmental control unit (ECU) to control lights, small appliances, adapted toys, televisions, and other electronic devices. POWER: Uses 4 AA batteries. DIMENSIONS (HxDxW): 9.9 x 1.2 x 12.2 inches. WEIGHT: 1.9 pounds. WARRANTY: One year all-inclusive warranty.
