(Verified 03/93) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- ALP (anticipatory letter prediction) uses a selection approach based on the probability of occurance. The first group of letters is TAOWH. Based on probability, these are the letters most likely to begin a word. User selects one of these letters or to receive another groups of letters. After a letter is chosen the next group presented is based on that selection. Groups are continuously presented until each word is completed. Two switches or a dual switch is required, one switch to advance the cursor, the other to select a command or letter. Program also has editing features of insert, delete, and overwrite. Text can be saved on a disk end edited at a later time. Optional equipment available to control home appliances, lights and control systems. System requirements: apple II, II+ or IIe; 48k memory, one disk drive; two switches; C/O switch interface or adaptive firmware card; printer.
