The Closed Caption Reader, model 7300, is a telecaption decoder designed print words on a television screen for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and for children who are learning to read. The Reader can be used as an affordable "electronic reading tutor" that lets students practice their reading skills at home and while watching TV. Young readers are able to see the story, hear the words, watch the words on the screen and understand the words in the context of the story. It lets children learn at their own pace. As a decoder, it will decode all caption encoded broadcast and cable TV programming, captioned satellite programming, captioned videotapes and laser discs and virtually any closed caption encoded video signal. This product has a one touch on/off switch and is channel 3/4 switchable. DIMENSIONS: (HxWxD) 1.5x6.5x6.25 inches. WEIGHT: 1.25 pounds. WARRANTY: 90 day limited.
