--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 07/94) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Power Pad is a 12 by 12 inch touch sensitive board which turns the Apple computer into a drawing, communication and educational tool. Requires no special hardware interface, connects to the computer's I/O Port. The overlays are in bold print. The distributor packages this with the Early Learning programs from Marblesoft. C1055 includes; Power Pad, Starter kit, Early Learning I (Matching colors, learning shapes, letter match and counting); Early Learning II (early addition I and II and sequencing up and down); Mix'n'Match (sorting fun, counting shapes, what comes next sequencing game) Early Learning III and Power Pad overlays. Package C3455 includes the above software and overlays only. All the software has large clear graphics and speech reinforcement and all characters are at least two inches high. Echo synthesized speech ( separate purchase) gives directions and encouragement. Instead of using the standard computer keyboard, children interact with the programs by the bold, large print overlays that are placed over the power pad. See separate entries for the software. .

Notes: Recommended for pre-school and elementary school aged, visually impaired children.
