Key to Access VPod is an accessibility software module, MP4 video player, and digital voice recorder designed for use by individuals who have learning disabilities. When this device is inserted into a computer's USB port, the user has access to a suite of accessibility tools: Universal Reader Plus for reading email and web pages; E-Text Reader, a tool that allows the user to highlight, bookmark, search and extract text from a document; Ultimate Talking Dictionary, a 250,000-word voice output dictionary and thesaurus; Talking Word Processor, a voice output word processor, word prediction program, and grammar check; Scan and Read Pro, a voice output optical character recognition program; PDF Magic, a program that converts inaccessible PDF files to accessible formats; Text To Audio, a program that converts digital documents to MP3 format and saves them for listening away from the computer; an on-screen Talking Calculator; Premier Predictor Pro, a word prediction program; and PDF Equalizer, an access program for PDF files. Personal settings are saved on the device and applied to each computer as it is inserted. The software is updated automatically whenever the device is on a computer connected to the Internet. The MP4 video player/MP3 audio player is constructed of stainless steel with a 256K full-color TFT screen, and comes with earbud headphones and a carrying case. It has two GB (gigabytes) disk space and a two GB expansion slot. It plays music in MP3, WMA, or WMV format and video in AVI format, and displays photos in JPEG or BMP format. POWER: Uses a Nokia Mobile rechargeable lithium battery. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows XP or Vista operating system and a USB port. DIMENSIONS: The TFT screen is 2.4 inches. WARRANTY: One year.
