Read and Tell Build Your Own Library is an academic, reading, language and vocabulary tutorial program designed for children who have cognitive or learning disabilities. This program allows teachers or parents to get the individual titles they need and build their own Read and Tell library over time. Each Read and Tell book comes with an adapted book, quizzes and vocabulary files that are ready to print and read. Ready-made PixWriter (see separate entry) word banks specific to the chapters help students demonstrate that they are comprehending what they are reading. Each file is reviewed, revised and updated with Literacy Support Pictures. Each title also includes Picture It files, a story map, a summary worksheet, character cards and a K-W-L chart. Available titles include "Freckle Juice," "Sarah, Plain and Tall," "My Side of the Mountain," "Because of Winn-Dixie," "The Red Badge of Courage," "Out of the Dust," "Number the Stars" and "The Great Gilly Hopkins."
