--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 2/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Cause and Effect is a memory improvement tutorial program designed to improve visual tracking skills and to develop user attention span for children (9 months to 3 years of age) with cognitive disabilities. This computer program consists of over 30 different animated geometric segments designed with captivating sounds. Each segment is activated by the user with a press of a switch and lasts three to five seconds (can be altered if needed). The program allows the user's progress to be monitored from session to session with reports that can be printed out and graphed. COMPATIBILITY: IBM PC or related compatibles. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: MS DOS and an EGA or VGA monitor. OPTIONAL: Serial or joystick port; switch adapter; printer for progress reports.
