Picture of HOUSELINC 2 HouseLinc 2 is an environmental control software program designed for use by individuals with mobility or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. Available in USB and serial port versions, this software enables the user to manage a home network of automated lighting and appliances through a personal computer. The system includes a software CD and a HouseLinc 2-enabled USB or serial port modem with cable, and can be used to create scenes and timed events for lights and appliances controlled by INSTEON-compatible or X10-compatible devices (not included). COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers running Windows. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows 2000, XP, or Vista (32-bit only); 15 megabytes (MB) of free disc space; 128 MB of RAM; HouseLinc 2-enabled PowerLinc Modem (included). DIMENSIONS: USB cable is 6 feet long.
