Picture of BCW 600 WIDE WHEELCHAIR The BCW 600 Wide Wheelchair is a folding manual wheelchair designed for use by large adults. FRAME: Stainless steel folding frame with a baked urethane finish to ensure chip, scratch, and fade resistance. A double X-brace and 4 point telescoping at each corner to strengthen design are standard. The chair folds to 13 inches for transport and storage. A rigid frame is available. Black is the standard frame color; red, teal, silver, and charcoal chrome are available at an extra charge. Anti-tippers are optional. SEAT: The standard seat width is 20 or 22 inches. Optional widths range from 24 to 36 inches in 2-inch increments. The standard seat depth is 18 inches. A 22-inch depth is avaliable at no charge. Seat depths of 19, 20, 21, 23, or 24 inches are extra-cost options. The standard seat height is 20.5 on seats less than 28 inches wide and 22 inches on seats 28- to 36-inches wide. An optional 18.5-inch high seat is available on seats less than 28 inches wide and a 16- or 17-inch high seat is available on rigid frames. Custom heights above 22 inches are also available. A non-removable 16-inch high back is standard. Optional back heights range from 17 to 26 inches in one-inch increments. Three styles of seatbelt are available as options. A solid seat and back and a headrest extension are also available. CUSHION: One- and two-inch thick foam cushions are available for seats up to 36 inches wide. Custom and gel cushions are special order items. UPHOLSTERY: Sling upholstery of heavy-duty, color fast, sulfide stain-resistant vinyl covers two layers of trampoline material, rated at 600 pounds per square inch. Black, blue jay blue, burgundy, slate, hunter green, and mauve are standard colors. ARMRESTS: Removable desk length padded armrests are standard. Full-length removable padded armrests and removable height-adjustable desk- or full-length armrests are optional. BRAKES: Push to lock wheel locks. An extension is available. CASTERS: 6 x 1 inch solid front casters. WHEELS: Standard spoked rear wheels have pneumatic tires 24 inches in diameter with 5/8 inch axles. Optional 26-inch spoked wheels and pneumatic tires are available, as are 24-inch pneumatic tires with flat-free inserts and 24-inch composite mag wheels with solid rubber tires. Chrome hand rims are standard; black plastic-coated handrims are optional. six or eight vertical projections are also available. FOOTRESTS: No front rigging is standard. Swingaway footrests and elevated, padded legrests are optional. Specially constructed legrests and footrests, full-support footboards or calf boards, extensions, and heel loops are also available OPTIONS: Telescoping IV pole holder and oxygen tank holder. CAPACITY: 600 pounds. WEIGHT: Approximately 58 pounds for seat widths up to 24 inches; 69 pounds for seat widths 26 to 30 inches. WARRANTY: Lifetime warranty on the frame and crossbrace and a 1-year warranty on all other components.
