Picture of VOCALIC R TO GO (MODEL 6-0760-2-WS) Vocalic R To Go, model 6-0760-2-WS, is a speech training and remediation proram designed for use by children with speech disabilities. This program focuses on the ability to articulate vocalic /r/ sounds in isolation; syllables; initial, medial, and final position of words; phrases; sentences; and in guided conversation. It covers stressed and unstressed er, air, or, air, ire, and rl sounds. The program includes practice opportunities for mastering articulatin patterns; a test to document progress; an oral-motor assessment to rule out abnormalities; a planning guide to establish goals and aid in writing IEPs; techniques to help shape the vocalic /r/ sounds from other speech sounds and to establish the vocalic /r/ sounds in isolation; and carryover activities such as puzzles, jokes and riddles, barrier games, and other games. A 102-page manual is included.
