Cause and Effect Factory is a cause and effect training program designed for use by individuals with cognitive disabilities. Designed to improve tracking ability of objects and increase the user's attention span, it is made up of 12 segments with a factory and assembly line theme. This program is an age appropriate cause and effect program but can also be used with younger children for its sound and graphics. Pressing the switch will cause another part of the assembly line process to continue. Animation and sounds hold the user's attention and prior understanding of the segment is not required. Segments in this program include: The candy factory, peanut butter factory, lollipop assembly line, street sign factory, computer assembly line, bridge attendant, post office stamp machine, loading dock, gumball machine, hotdog assembly line, cheese slicer machine, and toll booth operator. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows 98 or higher operating system with at least 133 megaHertz (MHz) processor, 8 megabytes (MB) random access memory (RAM), 5 MB hard drive space, a sound card, and a VGA monitor or better.
