The curriculum, which is part of the Life Skills Curriculum, includes 17 duplicatable books, 17 duplicatable CD-ROMs, and 17 online lessons. The materials equip students with the knowledge and skills to set goals for themselves and make better personal choices. Students can use the curriculum independently or in groups. Titles include Buying a Used Car; I Didn't Get What I Paid For; Comparative Shopping; Insurance; Consumer Fraud; Interest; Consumer Laws; Mail Order Problems; Consumerism; Poor Credit Ratings; Establishing Credit; Reading Ads; Financing a Car; Warranty - Any Good?; Getting Consumer Help; What Am I Worth?; and How to Handle Money. In addition to the duplicatable books, duplicatable CD-ROMs and online lessons, the curriculum includes a teacher’s guides, lessons plans, record keeping logs, pre/post-assessments, alignments to CASAS and Job Corps Career Success Standards, certificates of achievement, and other support materials. All of the materials are duplicatable after purchase. All print materials are available in digital format (Word and PDF) at no additional cost after purchase. This allows the print to be enlarged and the materials to be put into alternate formats. All of the interactive CD-ROMS and online lessons have audio and print, along with companion books.
