Picture of FIRSTWORDS: SHAPES FirstWords: Shapes is a pre-reading and spelling tutorial program for children with developmental or learning disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. This application (or app) is an interactive game that includes 22 shapes from dot to line to octagon. Children can learn about letters and words by themselves or with others by pushing the letters into place, saying the names and enjoying the spinning shapes. Difficulty level can be adjusted to match the abilities of individual children. The user interface has been tested with toddlers and young children and is designed specifically for little fingers. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 3.0 or later.
