Picture of DONJOY CUSTOM ADJUSTABLE OA DEFIANCE The DonJoy Custom Adjustable OA Defiance is a knee orthosis designed for use by individuals with mild to moderate osteoarthritis affecting the lower extremity. This brace is custom-made utilizing the DonJoy CCMI measurement system or cast mold. A base-level corrective load of 1 to 7 degrees is built into the frame. A user-controlled telescoping condyle allows the user to "fine tune" the load to accommodate demands during activity with up to 3 degrees of additional correction. The lightweight, low profile, four-walled carbon composite frame is molded to accommodate unique varus or valgus angulations. The orthosis includes a 4-Points-of-Leverage system with an adjustable anterior thigh cuff, posterior calf cuff, posterior thigh strap, and anterior tibial strap. Other features include a floam condyle pad, patient adjustment key, and a carry-all brace bag. SIZES: Available in standard calf (height at least 64 inches) or short calf (height 64 inches or shorter) lengths. DIMENSIONS: Thigh circumference ranges from 12.5 to 38.125 inches; calf circumference ranges from 10.25 to 26.25 inches. COLOR: Variety of colors and graphics available.
