The FREEDOM-Form Custom-Moldable Thumbkeeper is a thumb splint designed for use by individuals with arthritis and other disabilities of the thumb. Made of Multiform Thin Splinting material, this lightweight splint is lined with AliPlast cushioning foam, adjusts with the hand, and maintains maximum hand function. Available for the right or left hand, this splint immobilizes the carpo metacarpal (CMC) joint while permitting functional freedom of the other fingers. For a custom fit, the flat form is superimposed on the joint and bent to fit. The strapping, which is supplied separately, is then applied for a secure fit. The splints are made of hook-sensitive fabric with closed cell foam for precise strap positioning. The splint is hand washable. SIZES: Small, medium, or large.
