Picture of KINAIR IV The KinAir IV is an air flotation mattress designed for use by individuals with pressure ulcers or at risk for pressure ulcers. The KinAir IV combines advanced pressure relief therapy with a manual wound care turn to provide optimum skin care and positioning. Controlled air suspension and cushion depth help reduce interface pressure, assisting in the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers. The Nurse Assist turn-and-hold feature helps to reduce shear, save staff time, and may reduce staff injury in turning or positioning patients. The advanced Stryker Secure 3000 features a retractable frame, bed exit alarm, and built in scales. The GORE-TEX fabric cover sheets provide moisture-vapor transfer, while serving as a barrier to liquid and bacteria, helping the individual stay dry and comfortable. POWER: 12.5 Amps. DIMENSIONS: The support surface is 84 inches long x 43 inches wide with side rails up and 36.5 inches without siderails. The adjustable height ranges from 21.5 inches to 31.5 inches. The surface is 15.5 inches deep at the head and 13.5 inches deep at the foot. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. WEIGHT: The weight of the bed is 700 pounds.
