Picture of SECA CHAIR SCALE (MODEL 952) The Seca Chair Scale, model 952, is a digital chair scale designed for use by individuals with balance or lower extremity disabilities. This scale allows the user to be weighed while seated. It has fold-up armrests and footrests and an ergonomically shaped seat. Two casters in the rear and two fixed wheels in front allow the unit to be moved by an attendant using a push bar located behind the top of the back rest. There are brakes for the rear casters to hold the chair in place. The TARE function allows every newly added weight to be ascertained separately, and the auto-HOLD function lets medical personnel take care of the user first and read out the results later. The user's weight can be shown in either kilograms or pounds, in steps of 100 grams or 0.2 pounds. The display and controls are located between the push bar and the top of the back rest. POWER: Uses 6 type AA 1.5-volt batteries. DIMENSIONS: 22.2 x 35.7 x 37.2 inches. CAPACITY: 440 pounds. WEIGHT: 49.4 pounds. WARRANTY: Two year warranty excluding movable parts.
