The Personal Catheter is an internal catheter designed for intermittent use by individuals with urinary incontinence, severe physical disabilities, or spinal cord injury. This latex-free silicone catheter comes in four configurations (standard, antibacterial, hydrophilic, and antibacterial hydro) and in male, female, and pediatric lengths. The catheter has a firm silicone inner layer for ease of insertion and a soft silicone outer layer that is gentle on sensitive urethral tissue. The silicone polymers provide a smooth, non-stick surface. The catheter's four drainage eyes are small to help the catheter pass smoothly over sensitive urethral tissue, and offset to help maximize drainage. The catheter returns to its original straight shape even when stored in a looped position. OPTIONS: Tray with pre-connected catheter and insertion supplies, including a 16-inch long, 14 French unit size cathether; a waterproof absorbent underpad; one pair of latex-free pre-cuffed gloves; a fenestrated drape; 3 PVP swabs; sterile lubricating jelly; and a specimen container with lid and label. SIZES: 10 to 18 French units (male or female); 8 or 10 French units (pediatric boys). DIMENSIONS: 16 inches long (male), 10 inches long (pediatric boys), or 6 inches long (female).
