The Haverich Tricycle BA is an arm-powered tricycle for children and adults who have had transverse lesion of the spinal cord, dysmelia, or for lower extremity amputees. The arm-powered drive unit replaces standard handlebars, and foot platforms take the place of foot pedals. The arm- powered drive unit is available on tricycle models 16/16 and upwards. The tricycles feature rigid drive train for forward and reverse riding, front caliper brake, dismantlable rear axle, wraparound backrest with padded chest strap, and steering lock angle limiter. The Torpedo 3-speed free wheel hub with coaster brake may be fitted with the arm-powered drive tricycles, but reversing is then impossible. DIMENSIONS (in inches): 27 w x 47 l (Model 16/16), 31 w x 53 l (Model 20/16), 31 w x 61 l (Model 24/20, Model 26/20), 31 w x 71 l (Model 24" and Model 26").
