--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 12/2004) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Loop amplification system which is small and easy to install. All that is required is a hammer to tack the wire-loop along the walls if it cannot be held in place by carpeting. The audio-output signal from the audio source (radio, t.v., P.A. system) can be connected to the Univox by either directly from the source's output jack to the 50 mV to 7 V input jack or via the speaker output from the source to an electret microphone that is connected to a 5 mV sensitive separate mic input jack on the Univox. The system covers an area of up to 450 square feet. Has 4 selectable outputs to the loop for optimum field strength with maximum 1% distortion over a frequency range of 100 Hz to 5000 Hz. The amplifier has safety features against short circuit, voltage fluctuations, over-temperature and over-current. System is portable.
