The Variable Axis Swing, model 4600, is a suspended rotational swing designed to provide spatial awareness and proprioceptive stimulation through movement for clients who are individuals who are physically challenged. The swing allows movement in all directions included swinging and spinning with the use of the Rotational Device (see separate entry). The seat is comfortably cushioned for positioning from nearly vertical to horizontal. The Swing comes complete with a strapping system that offers security for gravitationally insecure and low tone clients and is adjustable in two directions for clients of any size. The design leaves the users arms and legs free for throwing and kicking balls and allows the therapist easy access to the user from any position. The Swing has a durable, washable covering, is lightweight and folds for easy storage. DIMENSIONS: Swing frame is 44 inches wide x 54 inches high. Seat is 41-1/4 x 22-3/4 inches.
