--- DO-IT-YOURSELF ENTRY --- PURPOSE: Assisted support of fishing rod for angler with weak grip. Drawing of a custom orthotic device formed to fit around the fishing rod within position of the handgrip. The support is made of metal with plastic covering and secured by velcro fastener. Appears to provide some wrist support. Fits around the wrist and against the palmar surface of the hand, with a hook formed at the top of the device that supports the fishing rod.
