Water Powered People Lifts, model I-20, is a pool lift designed for use with in-ground pools and spas by individuals with mobility disabilities. These lifts are powered by water pressure from a standard garden hose require no electricity or cranking and so require few moving parts. Once the garden hose is connected to the 180-degree, three-way valve, pressure created by the water in the lift's aluminum cylinder raises and lowers the hard plastic shell seat. Seat travel may be stopped at any time during operation with the water valve. The Rota-lock locking system prevents the seat from moving while the user is entering or exiting the seat. The lift socket (similar to a ladder socket) is the only permanent installation. The lift'sbase post with the attached seat is lowered into the socket when needed. The socket provides the rotation point for the lift. OPTIONS: Padded headrest, padded footrest, upper and lower seat belts, additional standard socket, and a socket plate for use with wooden decks are available.
Notes: Custom models are available for above-ground pools and spas and lakes. ** Liftsmith LTD. and Rotalock are trademarks of Liftsmith LTD. ** The manufacturer states most city water systems provide adequate pressure to operate the lift; for those using wells, a water pump may be used to facilitate operation.
