Picture of OBUS SEAT The OBUS Seat is a seat panel designed to relieve fatigue from the buttocks to the sacrum and to the lumbar and thoracic areas. The panel will support up to 75 percent of the body's weight and prevent the ischial tuberosities to sink into soft cushions. The coccyx is protected by a contoured buttocks frame with a cut-out seat depression. The device also protects the thighs with additional molded padding to reduce fatigue, improve circulation, help prevent swollen ankles and feet, and maintain proper leg spread to minimize leg spasms. The modular seating component features a firm and flexible polycarbonate frame with three sections; the front section is removable to adjust to different seat depths. The entire unit can be attached to the OBUS Forme Back Rest (see separate entry) with a special projecting tab with hook-and-pile fasteners. COLOR: Available in black, brown, burgundy, camel, grey, green, taupe, and two shades of blue.
