The MSS Tilt and Recline is a pediatric positioning seat designed to provide growth adjustments and optimum positioning for children with physical or neurological disabilities. FRAME: The chair is available with a high or low frame, can be converted to a floor sitter, and is offered in two sizes. SEAT (WxD): The seat is 9 x 5 to 14 inches on the small model and 10.5 x 5 to 14 inches on the medium model. The back height adjusts from 10 to 12.5 inches on the small model and from 12.5 to 16 inches on the medium model. The seat to footrest height adjusts from 5 to 10.5 inches on both models. The seat to floor height on both models is 13.5 inches as a floor sitter, 14 inches with the low frame, and 22.5 inches with the high frame. A removable headrest, pelvic strap, trunk harness, lateral supports, and abduction wedge are all standard.TILT AND RECLINE: The standard reclining backrest angle is 10 degrees on both models; optional recline is ranges from 80 to 140 degrees. The seat tilts in space up to 45 degrees. CUSHION: Washable cushions are included. ARMRESTS: The armrests are height- and angle-adjustable. A dining tray is also included. WHEELS: Four caster wheels provide mobility; the rear casters lock. FOOTRESTS: A height-adjustable footrest is standard and the footrest depth is 7.5 inches on both the small and medium models. OPTIONS: A Booster Kit that enables the seat insert to be removed from the frame and used as a booster seat on a standard chair or stroller while maintaining its positioning settings; vinyl trunk harness; a set of vinyl covers; and headrest wedges. WEIGHT: Both models weigh 28.6 pounds with accessories. CAPACITY: 75 pounds for the small model and 100 pounds for the medium model. WARRANTY: Two-year limited warranty.
