(Verified 01/2011) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Modified Sony 4-Track Play/Record Variable Speed is a cassette tape player/recolrder designed for use by individuals who listen to Library of Congress books. This modified portable boombox-style unit operates at 15/16 or 1 7/8 inches per second and features factory built-in variable speed and a large built-in speaker. Other standard features include AM/FM/TV and weather band, analog tuner, earphone jack,. built-in microphone, telescopic antenna, and a built-in carrying handle. POWER: Uses the attached alternating current (AC) power cord or four D batteries (not included). DIMENSIONS: 12 3/8 x 5 5/8 x 4 3/8 inches. WARRANTY: One year.
