Picture of INDUCTION NECK LOOP (MODEL 1-07095-00) The Induction Neck Loop, model 1-07095-00, is a hearing aid accessory designed for use by individuals who are deaf blind. This device helps hearing aid users who are blind or have low vision to understand voices on talking books and other cassette tapes. This audio accessory enables telecoil-equipped hearing aids to directly receive a signal from a cassette tape recorder/player with a 3.5-millimeter headphone jack, including those sold by the American Printing House for the Blind (see separate entries). The device works with most telecoil- ("t-switch" or "phone switch") equipped hearing aids, allowing the user to boost the volume of the auditory signal in order to listen without interference from background noise. This device comes with stereo and mono adapter plugs.
