(Verified 1/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Personal Communications Terminal is a communication system for individuals who are either deaf or hard of hearing, blind or low vision, or a combination of the two. The system has a dual telephone jack for your handset or external light and directly connects to telephone using a standard modular jack. The keyboard also has a complete telephone keypad. It is equipped with a full answering machine with call screening and remote access. There is an Electronic Telephone Directory and ten self prepared messages for answering the telephone. The system also features automatic call status indicator (pleasse dial, ringing, busy, etc.); automatic PCD/TDD connection; two way interactive conversation with interruption; visible displat of both sides of the conversation and off-line correspondence preparation. The monitor is a full page screen showing 25 lines, 40 characters per line and there is a printer interface for call record file. OPTIONS: Printer is $199, Safe Bag is $89.95, Wrist Support is $39.95.
