The Harris Communications ADA Compliance Kits combine the products required for hotels, nursing homes, or hospitals to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. ADA accessibility guidlines require that rooms be equipped with assistive systems, including text telephones (TTY/TTD), a notification system, a telephone amplifier, and a visual smoke detector. These portable all-in-one kits are lightweight and compact, easy to store and set up, and satisfies ADA requirements. A variety of sets are available to mee guest needs.All kits include a padded storage/carrying case. Model ADA-500 (shown) includes a telecommunications device for the deaf (TDD), a door knock signaler, a telephone signaler, a telephone amplifier, a digital clock and bed vibrator, and a visual/audio smoke detector. Model ADA-1000 includes a TDD, a visual/audio smoke detector, a multi-function alerting system, and a telephone amplifier. Model ADA-4000 is designed for a two-room or larger suite and includes all the features of model ADA-1000, plus a remote receiver.
