Picture of EX N' FLEX LEG MACHINE (MODEL EF-250) The Ex 'N Flex Leg Machine, model EF-250, is a powered leg-propelled bicycle exerciser disigned for use by people with spinal cord injury or lower extremity disabilities. This compact, lightweight cycle is height-adjustable for use from a wheelchair, chair, or scooter and can be moved using its specially-designed wheels and lockdowns. The unit features an accessible control panel, a bio feedback indicator, timer, forward and reverse directions, auto safety shut off, leg straps, and three speed levels for passive or active training. In passive mode, the legs or arms are rotated by the electric motor in orbital motion similar to cycling. In active mode, the user can assist the motor to move the pedals with his/her muscles. The special computer processor allows the machine to adapt to the user's strength capacity. As the user does more work, the EF-300 senses this and reduces the amount of work the motor does. As the user tires the machine picks up the difference and continues to move the legs or arms. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 18 to 31 x 22 x 16 inches. WEIGHT: 30 pounds. WARRANTY: One-year warranty on parts and labor.
