Picture of EVO The eVO is a motor assisted stationary therapy bicycle exerciser that provides reciprocating full-body motion to people who have little or no voluntary movement abilities due to neurological or physical disabilities. The eVO's motor-assisted handlebars move the upper body while the foot pedals move the lower extremities simultaneously in an interlinked "cross-patterning" manner. The intelligent motor in the eVO can be used in a Continuous Passive Motion, moving the user when they are unable to do so, or it can also allow the person to pedal faster than the motor setting under their own power and strength. The eVO will sense any interruption in pedal or handlebar motion due to unexpected spasms or cramping and quickly terminate movement to minimize user risk. The handgrips on the handlebars are adjustable vertically, and they rotate for optimal positioning. The eVO has a wide, supportive seat that rotates left or right 360 degrees with locking positions at 45 and/or 90 degrees to enable easy on and off access and provide user safety and comfort. The seat back fully reclines for individuals with back problems. A motorized seat elevation allows it to be lowered to the level of most wheelchairs for easy transfer. Other features include side grip bars and chest and lap belts for safety and security. The eVOs's foot plates have fully-adjustable Velcro straps to ensure secure foot placement. OPTIONS: Grasping cuff gloves, knee abductor. CONTROLS: Hand-held control. SPEEDS: Variable from 1 to 30 revolutions per minute (rpm). DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): 55 x 29.8 x 53.7 inches. CAPACITY: 400 pounds. WEIGHT: 236 pounds.
