This exerciser is used to strengthen upper or lower extremities, increase endurance, improve aerobic functioning, and improve balance and coordination. Handgrips and foot pedals drive a chain and sprocket mechanism which is attached to a plywood base. The drive mechanism is covered by protective shield. The hand grips are foam covered, and the plastic foot pedals have Velcro straps to secure feet to pedals. The unit can be pedaled by hands, feet, or both. DIMENSIONS: The base is 29 x 42 inches.
