--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 10/2008) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Rolyan Hand Ramp is an arm and hand exerciser and a progressive resistive arm exerciser used for gross and fine exercises including flexion, extension, pronation and supination. The ramp features a stable, durable, plastic base. One side of the base is designed to stabilize the wrist and/or forearm while the patient grasps and rotates the resistive cylinder. The other side of the base stabilizes the fingers while exercising the thumb and vice verse. The spring-loaded cylinder adjusts easily at one end for varying resistance. The other end of the cylinder features a thumb screw and a two inch diameter knob for pinch and grasp exercises, and is ideal for simulating key turning and door opening. The base and cylinder can be cleaned with a surface disinfectant.
