Giant Textured Beads, model 1-03780-00, are a perceptual training activity designed for use by children who are blind or have low vision. This activity introduces a variety of concepts, including shape, color, and texture. It also assists in the development of muscular and eye-hand coordination. The set includes 12 painted wooden beads in three shapes: cube, rectangular solid, and cyclinder. The shapes have three textures: smooth, striped, and grid. A bead stringer and instructions in print are included. OPTIONS: The bead stringer, model 1-03790-00, is available separately.
Notes: The manufacturer recommends this activity for children ages three through seven.
