------- "DO IT YOURSELF" ENTRY ------- PURPOSE: Intended to give a child tactile experience. Plywood board 8 by 18 inches marked into 12 sections; various materials with different surfaces (corrugated cardboard, sandpaper, rubber, various cloths) are glued onto 6 sections and matching materials are glued onto 6 pieces of 3 by 4 inch wood pieces. The child can then put the blocks on the squares next to the matching surface. SKILLS REQUIRED: Woodworking.
