The clutch/brake lever is constructed from 3/4 inch steel pipe. A 90 degree elbow has been added so that the lever extends directly toward the operator. the lever fits down inside another piece of 1 inch tubing, which is secured to the pedal arm with two U-bolts. This arrangement allows the pedal to be operated in a normal manner. The editor warns that levers constructed in this way should have exposed ends covered with rubber or plastic to avoid injury.
