The Side Door Drive-Thru Lift 275 is a wheelchair or scooter platform lift designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities. The lift installs on second row seating harware, so the power chair or scooter can be delivered near the passenger or driver's door making it more convenient to move from mobility device to vehicle and back. When the lift is in operation, a platform extends out on rails from inside the vehicle until it clears the side. From there, the platform lowers to the ground. The user drives the power chair or scooter onto the platform, attaches the straps, and presses a button. The power chair or scooter is automatically stored securely inside the vehicle. Loading and unloading can be completed using the included remote hand control. This unit is compatible with most power chairs and shorter scooters. POWER: Uses battery. An optional battery pack is available. OPTIONS: Wireless remote; folding seat adapter; base adapter for Lincoln Navigator; nationwide installation service. DIMENSIONS: Platform is 21.5 to 28.5 x 38.5 inches. Space requirements are 32 inches of head room and 58.5 inches of depth. The lifting height is 33.5 inches and the platform dead space is 4.5 inches. CAPACITY: 275 pounds. WARRANTY: Transferable limited 3 year warranty.
