« Previous Product Next Product »The Electric Carrier, model WC210M-52, is a Class 3 hitch mounted carrier for scooters or power wheelchairs. The lift is equipped with an electrical-operated screw jack that is activated by a switch. The power unit comes with a single wire that can be attached directly to the vehicle's electrical system or wired to a trailer plug. The power unit has built-in night lights which are switched on and off with a hidden push button under the red access cap. An emergency crank is also supplied to lower or raise the platform in the event of power failure. The unit is constructed of 1-inch x 14 gauge square steel tubing, 1/8-inch thick angle iron, and heavy gauge expanded metal. It comes with 5 tie-down locations and 3 nylon straps with large open hook and locking adjustment buckles. The platform has a positive spring-loaded locking handle for the down position and a key insert lock pin in the folded position. COVER: To protect the motor of the Electric Carrier, the Powered Lift Carrier Cover Package, model WC211M-52, is available for $74.95. It includes a weather fighting boot which covers the power pack unit. The cover consists of a solid-piece bottom, and the ends come together over the top of the vehicle and join in the center. The cover is made of weather-resistant nylon pack cloth with urethane coating. The cover is pliable for folding and storage, and is washable with soap and water. DIMENSIONS: Carrying platform is 48 x 25 inches inside the retainer edges and is 31 inches wide overall from the mounting bolt. The covers are made of nylon pack-cloth with urethane coating. CAPACITY: 300 pound maximum load. COLOR: Both the platform and the cover are black.
