(Verified 3/2002) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Power Tables are electrically raised and lowered adjustable height computer work tables designed to be used while sitting, including by wheelchair users, or while standing. The tables are available in a number of sizes and configurations; larger sizes will even accommodate multiple computer peripherals. Power Tables can be used alone, with other McDowell-Craig support furniture (see other entries), or other manufacturers' lines. Power Tables may be accessorized with mini arms and monitor lifts. FEATURES: Included in the design for all configurations are large areas for central processing units (CPUs) and other computer peripherals; an electric up/down switch engineered into the top for safety and convenience; two height ranges are available (26 to 39 inches and 29 to 42 inches); all steel construction; operation on ball bearing mechanisms; bases constructed for strength, stability and foot/wheelchair space. POWER: Electrical is 120 volts AC, 1.3 Amps, with a 10 foot grounded cord. DIMENSIONS (LxW): The 3000 series tables are the smallest configuration available and range from 30 x 24 inches to 36 x 30 inches. The 4000 and 6000 series tables have longer work surfaces and range from 42 x 24 inches to 60 x 30 inches, with or without a 16 inch overhang (on left or right side) to accommodate small file cabinets or other furniture components under the work surface next to the pedestal leg. CAPACITY: Tables will lift up to 230 pounds. WEIGHT: Depending on configuration and size, weights range from 102 to 247 pounds. FINISH: A palette of finishes for laminates and enamels is available.
