--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 08/96) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Comfort Walking Cane is a wooden cane designed to conform to the shape of the user's hand in order to evenly distribute pressure over the whole width of the hand for a secure grip. Unlike hoop-bent canes, these wooden canes made from solid ash and oak aim to provide less stress and fatigue to the user; they are designed to absorb harful vibrations normally transmitted by plastic and metal canes. The Comfort Walking Staffs are shaped and sanded by hand straight from grained ash and oak. Popular with backpackers, hikers, and walkers. SIZES: 34 - 37 inches in length; half-inch increments (canes); 39, 44, & 55 inches in length (staffs). COLOR: Red, brown, black (both).
