(Verified 2/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- he Rifton Pediatric Mobile Stander is a mobile standing aid designed to enable a child without active use of trunk or leg muscles to stand while retaining mobility. The body support is fully padded and adjustable in height, width, and tilt angle. The drive wheels are tilted to bring the top of the wheels under the hands, and the foot plate is height-adjustable for proper positioning. Quick-release axles allow the stander to be stored or transported. The basic equipment for all models includes padding and straps. The 20-inch Pediatric Mobile Stander, Model K12, is designed for children 30 to 37 inches tall with a maximum chest width of 9 inches. The 27-inch Pediatric Mobile Stander, Model K14, is designed for children 37 to 47 inches tall with a maximum chest width of 11 inches. The 34-inch Pediatric Mobile Stander, Model K16, is designed for children 47 to 60 inches tall with a maximum chest width of 12 inches. OPTIONS: Forearm prompts, a pair of brakes to hold the unit in place, a carrier and an abductor. DIMENSIONS (WxH): Model K12 is 23.5 x 27 inches with a wheel size of 20 inches. Model K14 is 28.5 x 32 inches with a wheel size of 27 inches. Model K16 is 31 x 40 inches with wheel size of 34 inches. CAPACITY: Model K12 has a capacity of 50 pounds, model K14 has a capacity of 100 pounds, and model K16 has a capacity og 150 pounds. WEIGHT: Model K12 weighs 24 pounds; Model K14 weighs 35 pounds; Model K16 weighs 46 pounds.
