Hand powered mobile standing device. Standing frame for lower body support, yet operates and maneuvers like a wheelchair. The unit is hand driven from the standing position by two large handwheels which are linked by a chain drive to the rear 12 inch drive wheels. The unit also has a work table that folds flat against the front, and an adjustable chest support that rotates forward and downward and locks into place, making it possible to lean over to work or pick up objects. To transfer to and from the unit, the user places knees against the kneepads and pulls forward and upward with upper body. This causes legs to straighten and places user in standing position. Rigid pads are used to hold the body securely in position, knees, front of thighs, front of chest, and rear of pelvis. The unit is completely adjustable for custom fit. Video demonstration tape available. .

Notes: This device was designed for paraplegics who wish to move about while standing. Upper body strength required to assume standing position and operate wheels.
