Picture of TUMBLE FORMS 2 READY RACER (MODEL 4770R) The Tumble Forms 2 Ready Racer, model 4770R, is a hand propelled cart designed to help improve perceptual motor coordination for children with upper extremity and mobility disabilities. The cart is intended to improve perceptual motor skills, strengthen arms and upper trunk, and allow peer play for children 18 months to 5 years of age. The cart allows the child to play at peer level in indoor settings, and to maneuver in tight places. The cart moves easily over carpet and rough surfaces with minimal arm strength. It is particularly useful in early childhood programs for improving perceptual motor skills and strengthening the arms and upper trunk. The cart features pneumatic tires and a front swivel caster; molded wheel rims to fit small hands; a seat position that allows 15- degrees knee flexion and a 90-degree seat-to-back relationship; and a low front design for easy self-transfer. A lateral trunk support, lateral leg support, and a 45- degree hip strap are all included. Other features include a lightweight, high density foam chassis covered with moisture proof easy-to-clean Tumble Foam coating. OPTIONS: An adjustable-height handle. DIMENSIONS: 35 x 20 inches overall; the inner seat is 13.5 x 9.5 x 23 inches. CAPACITY: 55 pounds.
