--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 3/2004) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Vision Reactor is a rigid, ultra-light manual wheelchair designed for adults. FRAME: The dual suspension rigid frame is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum and is available in three standard and three optional colors. The weldless frame assembly eliminates heat distortion, and its design features uncoupled adjustment single-tool fitting and adjustment system. Anti-tips are optional. SEAT: The rigid honeycomb seat is available in a range of widths from 14 to 18 inches in one-inch increments. Seat depths are available from 15 to 18 inches in one-inch increments. The backrest is angle-adjustable The standard backrest is also height-adjustable and non-folding and is available in three adjustment ranges. A height-adjustable folding backrest is available at an extra charge. Push handles are optional. CUSHION: A 2-inch cushion is standard. ARMRESTS: Armrests are optional. Swingaway armrestss are available at an extra charge. BRAKES: Fully retractable scissor locks are standard and a high mount, push-to-lock brake is available at no extra charge. Underseat scissor locks, push- to-lock brakes with hill holders, and brake extensions are extra cost options. CASTERS: Five- inch polyurethane casters are standard. Three-inch micro casters are available at an extra charge. 6-inch polyurethane or pneumatic casters are optional. WHEELS: 24-inch spoke wheels with 559 rims and Pulstar hubs and Turbo tires are standard. Also available at no extra charge are 24-inch spoke wheels with pneumatic treaded tires or high-pressure tires and 24-inch molded wheels with pneumatic treaded tires. Pneumatic tires with airless inserts are optional. Standard handrims are hard Anodized aluminum. Black plastic-coated handrims and eight vertical projections are available at an extra charge. Standard camber is 6 degrees. Camber measurements at 0 degrees, 3 degrees, 9 degrees and 14 degrees are all available at no extra charge. FOOTRESTS: A rigid, adjustable footrest with a nylon leg strap is standard. OPTIONS: Backpack, basketball roller, caster housing protectors, caster swivel locks, fabric clothing guards and others. CAPACITY: 250 pounds. WEIGHT: 23 pounds. WARRANTY: Lifetime frame warranty.
