This chair can accommodate an almost infinite range of personal seating system and wheeled mobility needs by providing programmable powered positioning, driving, and braking features. FRAME: This power-base chair has a non-folding steel frame. The frame is 40.5 inches long and 25 inches wide. The turning radius is 25 inches. Black with graphite gray accents is standard. Royal blue, red, or purple accents are available at extra cost. CONTROLS: Programmable controller and remote swing-away joystick with a choice of right or left mounting is standard. Center mounting, a retractable joystick, an extended holder, a programmer for the controller, and a toggle switch for power features are optional. Adapted driving controls such as a chin control, head control, and sip-and-puff are available. FWD: Front wheel drive with a low center of gravity. SEAT: Solid seat and back is standard. Lumbar support and lateral wedges are available at no charge and the standard seat (width x depth) is 17 x 18 inches. Optional seat sizes include 17 x 14 inches, 17 x 16 inches, 17 x 20 inches, 17 x 22 inches, 19 x 18 inches, 19 x 20 inches, and 19 x 22 inches. With the optional heavy-duty packages, seats with a choice of 20-, 22-, or 24-inch widths and 18-, 20-, or 22-inch depths are available. The seat height adjusts from 17 to 28 inches. Pediatric seating is also available with this chair. The standard backrest has a manual recline feature, the height is 25.5 inches from the seat pan, and the backrest is available in 16 x 16 inches, 16 x 18 inches, or 18 x 18 inches. A padded Loeser backrest with shear reduction is available. A variety of options including a removable headrest, lateral supports, thigh supports, calf supports, a removable abductor wedge, and seatbelts are available. TILT AND RECLINE: Power tilt, power recline, or power tilt and recline are available. Power recline with shear reduction ranges from 90 to 180 degrees. Power tilt is available in either 30 degrees or 45 degrees. SEAT ELEVATOR: A power seat elevator is available. CUSHION: Available. UPHOLSTERY: Leatherette is standard; cloth is optional. ARMRESTS: Flip-up armrests are standard. Standard height-adjustable, 2-inch extra-height adjustable, and swing-away armrests are available. Armrest pads are available in a variety of sizes and may be ordered in a different size for each side. Armrest trough adapters are available. Reclining armrests are standard on recline or tilt packages. BRAKES: Electronic. CASTERS: 2 x 8 inch rear casters are standard and double casters are available. WHEELS: 3 x 14 inch front drive wheels. FOOTRESTS: Manual elevating legrests with split footplates are standard. Powered elevating legrests, powered flip-up footrests, and a one-piece powered footplate are optional. OPTIONS: Attendant control, push handles, transfer handles, ventilator tray, lights and horn, and lap tray. POWER: Uses two group 24 gel batteries. The charger is included. SPEEDS: A speed limiter dial is standard. Programmable electronics allow rates of acceleration, deceleration, and forward, reverse and turning speeds to be programmed. Maximum speed is 5 miles per hour with a range of 25 miles. CAPACITY: Standard capacity is 220 pounds; heavy duty packages increase capacity to 250 pounds (not available with some power options). WEIGHT: 285 pounds without batteries. WARRANTY: Lifetime warranty on chassis and a two-year warranty on electronics.
