Picture of CHALLENGER PEDIATRIC 1200 The Challenger Pediatric 1200 is a powered wheelchair designed for use by children or small adults with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME (HxLxW): 34 to 36 x 36 or 37 x 21 inches. Folding powder-coated frame with anti-tipper, available in sunshine yellow or jade green. Folded dimensions (LxW) are 35 x 15 inches. CONTROLS: Integrated programmable Integra joystick controller. RWD: Rear wheel drive with a direct drive motor. SEAT (LxW): 14 or 18 x 14 inches. The back height is 14 to 16 inches. A seat belt is standard. UPHOLSTERY: Black padded nylon upholstery. ARMRESTS: Swing-back, height adjustable padded armrests. CASTERS: 8 x 2 inch cast aluminum caster wheels with air foam tires. WHEELS: 10 x 3 inch molded rear wheels with pneumatic tires and puncture resistant tubes. FOOTRESTS: Cam action swing away footrests or legrests with roller bumper and heel loop. Calf pads are padded. POWER: Uses two deep cycle U-1 batteries (not included) with 4 amp external charger. SPEEDS: 4.8 miles per hour; range is 28 miles per charge. CAPACITY: 250 pounds. WEIGHT: 83 pounds.
