« Previous Product Next Product »The Bounder, Bounder Plus, and Big Bounder Manual Gurneys are manual stretcher wheelchairs designed for use by individuals with severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME: Black powder-coated tube frame with reinforced side and end rail mounts, made using all steel TIG welded box frame construction. Options include frame reinforcements; side and end rails; drink holder; frame colors other than black and upholstery; sliding drawer at front of gurney; storage tray located approximately under chest of user; or roller bumper wheels. MATTRESS (LxW): Mattress pan is 72 x 20, 22, or 24 inches on the Bounder, 72 x 14 to 25 inches on the Bounder Plus, or 72 x 26 to 36 inches on the Big Bounder. The standard mattress pan length is 72 inches; 40 to 96 inch lengths are available. The standard mattress pan height is 24 inches; 18 to 36 inch heights are available. Options include whole mattrees power tilt system, power or manual chest and head tilt system, or a power elevate system to lift the whole mattress from 20 to 40 inches above ground. BRAKES: Super Duty wheel locks. CASTERS: Plastic 8 x 2 inch caster wheels on the Bounder and Bounder Plus and metal 8 x 2 inch caster wheels on the Big Bounder are standard; options include 9 x 2.75, 9 x 3.5, or 10 x 3 inch metal caster wheels. WHEELS: 24 x 1.75 inch front drive wheels with pneumatic tires and handrims for self-propulsion. Options include 26 x 2.125 inch drive wheels with handrims. CAPACITY: 250 pounds for the Bounder or 500 pounds on the Bounder Plus and the Big Bounder. Options are available to increase the Big Bounder capactity to 1000 pounds. WARRANTY: Two year limited warranty on entire gurney and five years on frame (Bounder Plus) or one year limited warranty on entire gurney and three years on frame (Bounder or Big Bounder gurney).
