Picture of GARAVENTA SUPER-TRAC (MODEL TRE-52) The Garaventa Super-Trac, model TRE-52, is a portable inclined platform wheelchair lift designed for use by wheelchair users. This lift can be used indoors or outdoors on the stairways of public or residential buildings. Its moving platform design accommodates all types of wheelchairs, including power, children's, sports, and conventional adult wheelchairs. To operate the lift, an attendant guides the user onto the platform in a reverse position. The user is secured on the platform by a series of integrated tie-down straps and a seatbelt. Using the on-board controls, the attendant stands behind the platform and holds the handlebar to guide the platform lift as it travels on double wide tracks up or down the flight of stairs. This lift features an integrated non-slip loading ramp, fail-safe electromagnetic braking system, and large wheels to ease travel across landings between flights of stairs. The lift can be stored when not in use. POWER: Uses 24-volt sealed rechargeable batteries (batteries and charger are included). CAPACITY: 440 pounds.
