This wheelchair was designed to fit down the aisle of commercial aircraft and collapses to be stowed in the overhead compartment. FRAME: Rigid frame with a simple forward-folding collapse mechanism. SEAT: Adjustable backrest and seat angle. WHEELS: Standard removable spoked rear wheels for everyday use. With the rear wheels removed, small flip-down rear wheels for can be used for airplane boarding. FOOTRESTS: One-piece footplate.
Notes: This chair was initially developed with the support of the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program. The Endeavor was not available for commercial sale.
