The uCosy Weathershield is an umbrella for wheelchairs and strollers designed to protect a caregiver up to 6 feet, 4 inches tall pushing the mobility aid. The uCosy comprises a collapsible canopy made from durable nylon connected to telescoping poles fitted with uClamps (see also separate entry) capable of 360-degree rotation. Twin rotating uClamps attach simultaneously to the canopy poles and the structure of the wheelchair or stroller with the rotation controlled by simple turn-wheels. These clamps allow the collapsed canopy to be folded away against the back or front of the mobility aid when not in use while walking, depending on type and for flat storage when the wheelchair or stroller is collapsed. A modified uClamp controls the expansion of the canopy, and allows the user to easily open and lock the canopy to provide rapid protection from rain or excessive sun. The simple, telescopic ‘twist-n-lock’ (adjusted using the uTwist) poles give a height range of up to 185 centimeters. SIZES: One size with universal fitting.
